Tips to get the most out of it
Letter by letter
“Hello world” becomes “dlrow olleH”. It is the classic reversed-text option, useful for social media messages and word games.
Reverse only the word order
“one two three” becomes “three two one”, with each word intact. It works line by line, without mixing the lines.
Emojis and accents don't break
Whole characters are reversed, not pieces of them: an emoji or an accented letter still displays correctly after reversing.
Palindromes
Reverse a sentence and compare: if it reads the same in both directions (ignoring spaces, punctuation and capitals), it is a palindrome, like “A man, a plan, a canal: Panama”.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write a text backwards?
Paste or type the text, leave “All characters” selected and copy the result. It is reversed from the last letter to the first.
Can I reverse only the order of the lines?
Yes: choose “The order of the lines”. The first line moves to the end and the last to the start, without changing their content.
Does it work with emojis?
Yes. They are treated as a single character, just like accented letters built from several marks.
Can I paste it on social media?
Yes, it is normal text that you can copy and paste anywhere. Some apps change the reading direction, but all that is done here is reorder the characters.
