Tips to get the most out of it
Service + location keywords
List 1: your services. List 2: cities or districts. List 3: modifiers such as “cheap”, “professional” or “price”. You get hundreds of possible searches.
Not every combination gets searched
Generate lots, but check which ones are really searched for with a keyword tool before creating pages. Many combinations have no search volume.
Count before you generate
The number of combinations is the product of the list lengths: 10 × 20 × 5 = 1,000. The possible total is always shown, even if the result is trimmed to the limit.
Ads and A/B tests
It is also useful for generating headline variants (verb + benefit + call to action) to test in campaigns.
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine two lists of words?
Paste each list into a box, choose the separator and copy the result. One line is generated for each possible pairing.
How many combinations can it generate?
The total is the product of the number of items in each list. Up to 100,000 are shown, and the real total is always displayed.
How is it different from “Merge text line by line”?
Merging line by line joins row 1 with row 1, and so on. Combining lists joins each item of one list with every item of the others.
Does the order of the lists matter?
Yes: it determines the order of the words in each combination. Put first the list you want at the beginning.
