Tips to get the most out of it
Decide whether case matters
“Apple” and “apple” are different lines to a computer. Tick “Ignore uppercase and lowercase” if you want them to count as the same.
Invisible spaces
Two lines that look identical may differ by a trailing space. If a duplicate you can see isn't detected, tick “Ignore spaces at the start and end”.
See what repeats
“Only the repeated lines” tells you which items appear more than once: useful for spotting duplicate emails, references or keywords in a list.
Keep the original order
The tool doesn't reorder the list: it keeps the order in which the lines appear. If you want to sort it afterwards, use the list sorting tool.

How do I remove duplicates from a text list?

Does it work for keyword or email lists?
Yes. It's common to remove duplicates from lists of keywords, URLs, emails or references before using them. For emails and keywords it's best to ignore case.

The limit is your browser's memory. Lists of hundreds of thousands of lines are processed without trouble.
