Alongside Kit Digital, the Spanish government keeps another program active in 2026: Kit Consulting, managed by Red.es and funded through NextGenerationEU, with a budget of €300 million within the SME Digitalization Plan and the Spain Digital 2026 agenda. It's a separate program, with a different target audience and a different type of support.
Who it's aimed at
Unlike Kit Digital, which mainly targets freelancers and micro-businesses, Kit Consulting is designed for SMEs with 10 to 249 employees. It offers vouchers worth up to €12,000 (segment A), €18,000 (segment B) or €24,000 (segment C), depending on company size.
The key difference from Kit Digital
Kit Digital funds the implementation of specific technology tools: a website, an online store, a CRM. Kit Consulting funds something else: strategic advice. An external consultant analyzes your business, designs a digital roadmap, and develops a practical use case tailored to your company, without necessarily implementing anything themselves.

Complementary, not an alternative
82% of Kit Consulting beneficiaries have also used Kit Digital, which confirms that the two programs are designed to complement each other: first the strategic roadmap, then the implementation of the specific tools that roadmap points to. As we already saw with Kit Digital, the Kit Consulting call for applications remains open in 2026 until funds run out, with no fixed closing date, so it's worth not leaving it until the last minute.
