If you've searched for “Kit Digital 2026”, “Kit Digital deadline” or “apply for Kit Digital”, chances are you have come across pages that talk as if you could still apply. The short answer is that, as of October 2026, there is no Kit Digital call open. We explain it with the official sources, so you don't waste time on outdated information.
Short answer: there is no open call
The program's official portal, Acelera pyme, says in no uncertain terms that “the Kit Digital Program calls have ended”. The Red.es calls page, updated on October 13, 2026, lists five calls and every one of them has a closing date in the past, with no announcement of a new one. There is no published opening calendar either.
The five calls and when each one closed
- Call I: segment I (10 to fewer than 50 employees). Published on February 28, 2022 and closed on December 31, 2024.
- Call II: segment II (3 to fewer than 10 employees). Published on August 2, 2022 and closed on December 31, 2024.
- Call III: segment III (0 to fewer than 3 employees, including freelancers). Published on October 5, 2022 and closed on October 31, 2025.
- Call IV: community property entities (comunidades de bienes), civil partnerships (sociedades civiles) and jointly owned farms. Published on July 20, 2023 and closed on October 31, 2025.
- Call V: segments IV and V (50 to fewer than 250 employees). Published on December 10, 2024 and closed on June 30, 2025.
Red.es announced on October 31, 2025 that the last two calls still open were closing that day: the one for freelancers and companies with 0 to fewer than 3 employees, and the one for community property entities, civil partnerships and jointly owned farms. According to that statement, the program reached close to 850,000 companies with more than €3.4 billion in grants.
Why some websites still say you can apply
There are two reasons. The first is that many commercial pages from digitalization agents and consultancies were written while the calls were open and never updated; some still give 2026 closing dates that don't match the official table. The second is that in January 2026 Order TDF/39/2026 was published, which amends the program's rules on three points, including its validity until funds run out and the reinvestment of unspent money. It's easy to read that as the program still being open, but the Order doesn't open any call or change the amounts of the grants. You'll find the details in our Kit Digital 2026 guide.
Deadline: until when could you apply?
It depends on the segment, and all of them are now past the deadline. The first two segments closed on December 31, 2024, the larger segments on June 30, 2025 and the freelancers and micro-businesses on October 31, 2025. If what you're looking for is the “application deadline” to request the voucher for the first time now, it doesn't exist: there is no open deadline.
Kit Digital for freelancers in 2026
Freelancers and companies with 0 to fewer than 3 employees could apply for a €3,000 voucher from June 14, 2024, and that call closed on October 31, 2025. You can't apply today. If you already have a grant awarded, Red.es keeps its channels open to resolve questions about the justification.
What you can do now

How to find out if something is announced
The only sources worth following are Red.es and Acelera pyme, plus the BOE (Spain's Official State Gazette). If a new call is announced, it will be published there first. Be wary of anyone who assures you of a deadline “until funds run out” without linking to an official call.

Will there be a new call?

What if I was awarded the voucher and haven't used it yet?
Check as soon as possible with your digitalization agent and with Red.es the status of your grant and the execution and justification deadlines, because each agreement has its own dates.
Does Kit Consulting replace Kit Digital?
No. They are different programs: Kit Consulting funds advice to design your digitalization plan, while Kit Digital funded specific solutions such as a website or software.
